Our Vision
Prairie West Ice Cream has the knowledge, expertise, and equipment required to produce and package many different ice cream/frozen dessert products. At Prairie West Ice Cream, we have a reputation as a quality ice cream manufacturer. We are BRC certified and a peanut free dairy processing establishment. We hold certifications and good standings, with auditing and governing bodies in Canada. We expect the best, and will provide nothing less to our co-packing partners.
Our Company
We are a growing company in the middle of Canada, established in 2005! Prairie West Ice Cream is currently co-packing with a number of private label companies from all over North America. Our co-packing partner's recipes and their companies integrity is upheld while processing their product at our facility. Companies choose to work with us because we care about them and their products. We are co-operatively able to handle many different requests and supply innovative solutions to help bring their products to the retail market.
Your Co-packing Needs
For your co-packing needs, we can make your ice cream/sorbet/frozen desserts in a variety of formats, using your own recipes. We are partnered with well established suppliers throughout Canada to assist in sourcing ingredients and packaging. Our production plant has been built for large scale volumes therefore, our minimums units can range from 25,000 per day and 100000 for a week. Prairie West Ice Cream is able to offer you retail and wholesale co-packing of ice cream products. We are a certified Peanut Free facility and BRC certified. We cannot process any co packaging recipes that contain peanuts, or any other type of nuts.
Our Equipment
NEW in 2024!! Within our continued growth at Prairie West Ice Cream we have invested in the construction of ice cream novelty processing equipment. We are excited to announce that we are now making frozen novelty confections in cone and sandwich formats! Also NEW in 2024: We have added bag in a box processing equipment to manufacture soft serve creations. In our current facility, our equipment remains to be state of the art and diverse. This allows for your ice cream products to be packaged in a variety of container sizes. From individual sizes of 3 oz, and 5 oz plastic cups, to medium sizes with tamper evident lids of 500ml, and 1 Litre paper cups. Larger sizes can be made in tamper evident 4 Litre plastic tub, and 11.4 Litre plastic tubs. All of our 11.4 Litres are tamper-evident bounded for consumer product safety.
Shipping & Storage
Prairie West Ice Cream can assist your company with temporary freezer storage if required, and have a trusted partnership with freight provider Fairway Logistics to get your product shipped across Canada.
